The fellows returned to Nairobi for segment 4 of the Public Service Emerging Leaders Fellowship Programme (PSELF), which was co-designed with CIG. Commencing on 26 September 2022, this segment focused on the theme of public service leadership and ethics.

The Chandler Institute of Governance’s (CIG) Board Member Mr Tim Hanstad met with the President of Malawi, His Excellency Dr Lazarus Chakwera. They discussed how CIG and the Chandler Foundation can support the Government of Malawi's anti-corruption and civil service reform agendas. Mr Hanstad is also the CEO of the Chandler Foundation.

The Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG) and the Rwanda Cooperation entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 7 July 2022, formalising the partnership between both organisations to support public sector capabilities development. CIG will work closely with Rwanda Cooperation to co-design and co-deliver training programmes for public sector officers in Rwanda and internationally, and promote knowledge sharing through South-South and triangular cooperation.

The National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) and the Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG) gathered public sector officials and leaders, government practitioners, and academics for a workshop on The Chandler Good Government Index from Singapore and Application to National Governance in Vietnam on 30 November 2021. The workshop was held in-person at the NAPA campus in Hanoi. Attendees from other cities in Vietnam and around the world joined via video conference.

The Chandler Academy of Governance (CAG) conducted the Public Sector Finance Management Programme for the Singapore Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) from 28 to 29 September 2021. The programme was attended by 14 officers from MINDEF and the Singapore Armed Forces.

CIG, Kenya's Public Service Commission, Emerging Public Leaders (EPL) and Emerging Leaders Foundation (ELF) launch the Kenya Public Service Emerging Leaders Fellowship Programme that will support the development of 50 future government leaders annually, focusing on public-sector specific leadership development, ethics cultivation and citizen-centred government delivery. The Fellowship will include year-round responsive training, hands-on mentorship, community service engagement and continuous career development support, including networking opportunities among pan-African alumni.

CIG is collaborating with the Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation (PSIEC) in India to design and deliver the Planning, Developing, and Managing Successful Industrial Parks Programme from 2 February to 3 March 2021. The virtual programme supports the enhancement of industrial park planning, development, management strategies, and improves the ease of doing business and job creation in the State of Punjab.

The Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG) and Pubjab's (India) Department of Investment Promotion through the Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion (Invest Punjab) have been working closely since 27 February 2020, to enhance investment promotion and management strategies to drive investments into the State of Punjab. This partnership takes place under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Punjab formalised on 26 February 2020.
