The Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG) met with Vietnam’s Hanoi University of Home Affairs (HUHA) on 26 September 2019 to begin partnership on developing and using case studies. This follows the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that was signed on 13 August 2019.
CIG and Vietnam’s VASS Sign MOU to Establish Long-Term Partnership
The Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG) met with the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) on 26 September 2019 for the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between both organisations. The MOU signing builds upon a previous meeting between both organisations on 14 August to discuss areas of collaboration.

CIG Trains Costa Rica’s Civil Service in Human Resource Management
On 25 March and 2 April, the Chandler Institute of Governance organised a programme on public sector human resource management and performance appraisal for the Costa Rica Directorate General for Civil Service (Dirección General de Servicio Civil).
J-Pal South Asia Launches Governance Unit
With support from the Chandler Institute of Governance, J-PAL South Asia launched a Governance Unit. The unit will strengthen how they equip leaders and support governments to adopt an evidence-informed approach to decision-making that can improve citizens’ lives and set in place mechanisms to strengthen governance in India.
