Jeannette Ng

Manager (Strategy and Communications)

Jeannette is Manager (Strategy and Communications) at the Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG). In her current role, she supports the organisation’s external communications and strategy development.

Before joining CIG, Jeannette held various roles in Singapore’s public service, focusing on flood resilience and the built environment sector. At the PUB, Singapore’s national water agency, she was part of the inaugural team that developed the foundational policy and legislative framework for Singapore’s coastal protection efforts. She also supported the enhancement of national drainage infrastructure by ensuring adherence to technical standards, and facilitating the smooth delivery of drainage solutions. Jeannette was later seconded to the JTC, Singapore’s industrial master planner and developer, where she managed Singapore’s industrial land stock, working with government agencies to ensure the sustainable allocation of land to support Singapore’s long-term economic growth.

Jeannette holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering from University of California, Berkeley, and a BEng (First Class Honors) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from University College London, where she studied under a PUB overseas scholarship.
