Christopher Wong

Manager (Business Systems)

Christopher is Manager (Business Systems) at the Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG). He is responsible for strengthening CIG’s internal operations through the management of corporate, HR, and IT systems. This includes overseeing HR administration, office management, procurement, and vendor relationships. Christopher also works closely with senior management to shape and implement HR policies and SOPs, ensuring that the organisation’s systems remain robust and fit for purpose.

Prior to this role, Christopher led several of CIG’s key initiatives in governance and public policy. He pioneered the development of the Chandler Good Government Index, overseeing five iterations of the Index, and contributed to the creation of data-driven tools such as the Economic Risk Premium and the Governance Momentum Score. He also managed government projects across countries such as India and the Philippines, where his work focused on strengthening civil service training and improving governance structures.

Before joining CIG, Christopher conducted leadership and governance research at an international non-profit organisation. He also worked as a Data Miner at the Manpower Research and Statistics Department of Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower.

Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences (Honours), with a specialisation in Statistics, from Nanyang Technological University.
