Christopher Wong
Manager (Business Operations and Research)
Christopher is Manager (Business Operations and Research) at the Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG). In his current role, he manages projects in areas of governance and public policy and the design and implementation of operational policies and processes. Over the past three years, Christopher led the statistical construction of the Chandler Good Government Index – a global index measuring the effectiveness and capabilities of governments. He also co-developed other governance-related tools such as Economic Risk Premium and Governance Momentum Score. Besides data work, Christopher manages government projects across several countries including India and the Philippines.
In his Operations role, Christopher manages the organisation’s operating policies, key information technology systems, vendor management and procurement.
Prior to joining the Institute, Christopher conducted research on leadership and governance at an international non-profit organisation. He has also worked previously at the Manpower Research and Statistics Department at the Ministry of Manpower as a Data Miner. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences (Honours) with a specialisation in Statistics from Nanyang Technological University.
