Arvind Uppal has more than 31 years of experience in the private sector and an established track record of revitalising businesses in the consumer industry across many countries. He served as President Asia-Pacific and Managing Director for Whirlpool Corporation India Ltd for 12 years. Arvind fundamentally refined Whirlpool’s businesses, brand and product positions in India and other markets.
Prior to his stint at Whirlpool, Arvind had an 18-year career in Nestlé in India, Switzerland, China and Southeast Asia. He worked closely on the Maggi brand and was responsible for its launch and success across these countries.
Arvind is currently serving as a member of various public-listed boards such as Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd and Akzo Nobel India. Arvind is also an industry advisor to Advent International, and a mentor to various startups.
