September 21, 2023

LUSAKA (Zambia), 21 September 2023 – Zambia’s National Prosecution Authority (NPA) and the Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG) concluded a 3-day engagement and workshop focusing on organisational culture and development, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 19 September 2023.
The MOU formalises the partnership between the NPA and CIG, and provides a solid foundation for both organisations to champion good governance and integrity, and collaborate on the exchange of good practices and knowledge.
The signing ceremony was held at the NPA office in Lusaka. In his remarks, the NPA’s Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr Gilbert Phiri SC, emphasised the importance for NPA to grow as an institution that exemplifies integrity, and to deliver exceptional service to the Zambian people.
“It is our belief that this partnership will yield a crop of transformational leaders who will exude tenets of integrity that will permeate across all levels of our organisational structure. We want integrity to be the culture and DNA of the institution.”
