CIG Joins Regional Leaders at the International Conference on Anti-Corruption Innovations in Bangkok
August 21, 2025

BANGKOK (Thailand), 21 August 2025 – The Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG) participated in the 3rd International Conference on Anti-Corruption Innovations in Southeast Asia, held in Bangkok on 21–22 August 2025. Hosted by the Knowledge Hub for Regional Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Collaboration (KRAC), together with Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), UNODC, the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ), and CIG, the conference convened over 200 participants from across ASEAN, including government agencies, academia, and civil society.
As part of the programme, Mr. Nicholas Yee, Director (Global Partnerships) at CIG, moderated a plenary session on Integrity, Anti-Corruption and Ethics in Government, Politics and the Judiciary. The session brought together diverse perspectives from across the region to reflect on how integrity and ethical leadership can be strengthened in political and judicial systems. His participation underscored CIG’s role as a trusted partner in shaping regional conversations on building high-performance government anchored in integrity, and highlighted the importance of cross-border collaboration in building institutions that are resilient and trusted.

On the sidelines of the conference, CIG was also invited to a bilateral meeting with the Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) to explore potential collaboration. NACC expressed interest to learn more about CIG’s Chandler Integrity Assessment Scorecard (CIAS) as well as its wider integrity assessment work globally. The discussion highlighted opportunities for cooperation in areas such as training, knowledge exchange, and development of assessment tools to support Thailand’s anti-corruption agenda. CIG remains committed to working with partners across Southeast Asia to strengthen governance systems and advance regional cooperation against corruption.
