CIG Calls on President of Malawi HE Dr Lazarus Chakwera to Discuss Civil Service Reform

LILONGWE (Malawi), 21 October 2022 — The Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG) called on the President of Malawi, His Excellency Dr Lazarus Chakwera at Kamuzu Palace, State House. The courtesy call concluded CIG's working visit to discuss areas of collaboration with the Government of Malawi.

During the meeting, participants affirmed the importance of good governance and effective and efficient civil service to support public service delivery. CIG also reported its findings and proposals, as discussed with senior Malawi officials, to President Chakwera.

Wu Wei Neng, CIG's Executive Director, expressed keen interest and appreciation for the partnership with the Government of Malawi:
